Our priority right now is making sure everybody is okay. Officials are checking the situation, and as soon as we have clear information, we will pass it along.

These modifieds have big horsepower and a narrow margin for impatience. The fast lap only matters if the car is pointed straight enough to use it. Opening laps are the most compressed part of the race, so we are going to take the time to get this right.

We will reset the field under race control and bring this feature back under control when officials are ready.
